Vox has developed various digital resources to support basic skills training for adults.
Maths Aid
Maths Aid (Regnehjelpen) is a website consisting of two main parts:
 
For parents:
  • Information about what kind of maths children learn in the 4th and 7th forms in today’s primary school, in the form of sets of national tests with suggested solutions.
  • The objective is to show parents what kind of maths is taught today, and to provide them with a tool which enables them to understand today’s maths and to talk about maths with their children.
For all adults:
  • Interactive tasks with topics from everyday life.
  • The objective is to give people an opportunity to refresh their own maths skills.
In addition, the site offers explanation of fundamental rules in maths through animations and different types of calculators.

ABC pc
ABC pc is an interactive training programme for basic pc skills. It comprises the use of mouse and keyboard, writing texts, using the Internet and e-mail. The programme is aimed at adults who want to improve their basic ICT skills.
 
ABC pc is available in Norwegian and English. It is possible to download and translate the resource into other languages. You can also burn the course to a cd or a dvd.

Les og skriv (meaning "read and write")
Les og skriv is a website for adults, aimed at improving literacy skills. It has been an objective for Vox to develop a low-threshold tool for literacy skills training; it should be simple to get started and fun to go on with the training.
 
The website comprises some 1000 interactive tasks of various types and levels.

InterAct
InterAct is a web-based modell based on role play and problem solving. The aim is to motivate for learning at work. The activity is relatively short-term (lasting 4 – 6 weeks), giving diverse learning outcomes and creating a starting point for more learning.
 
The model is developed in an international Leonardo project co-ordinated by Vox. The objective of the project was to improve basic skills for employees with little formal education and low ICT skills.
